Broadband News UpdatePosted by David Herbert on 12th June 2003 9:41pm Article Ref: 13 Good news, not only have I received an acknowledgement from BT regarding registering a campaign and the associated materials (see below) but to celebrate the millionth broadband customer BT have reduced all Exchange threshold levels by 50 i.e., Milford now only requires 250 users and there are now 180 users registered. The email I received from BT was as follows ...
Dave, at present we are so inundated at the moment we are not updating the
spreadsheet until we have the new campaign up and running.
Firstly I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the delay in
responding to your e-mail. I know that you are very eager to get your
campaign for broadband underway and that you need our help and support to do
this.
New promotional material
We have been designing a new campaign over the last few months which will
make available to you a whole range of newly designed flyers, posters and
other promotional material. These will be available from 16th June.
Campaigner Members Web Site
We're also pleased to announce that we're launching a new campaigners
members site on www.bt.com/broadband on 16th June. This new member site
offers you help and support with your campaigns, and an online shopping
facility, where you can order a range of promotional items and choose your
delivery destination. The site will be further developed over the coming
weeks to give you the opportunity to contact and exchange information with
other campaigners via a message board. We're also developing an online `web
site toolkit' facility where you will be able to quickly set up your own
campaign websites.
Registering couldn't be easier, we'll send you a reminder when you will be
able to register and use the site.
Broadband Britain Challenge
We believe that broadband campaigners deserve special recognition for their
efforts as they give their own time and energy to benefit their entire
communities. We're inviting campaigners to enter the special broadband
campaigner category so you can tell us your story. Look out for the
Broadband Britain Challenge logo on the Campaigner Members Web site.
Regards
Ashley Jahn
