Add an Event

This page should be used for posting an event on the Brocton Online website. Blatant business advertising will be removed unless it is necessary to describe an event. For example a "pub quiz" would be ok whereas a "two for one on meals" would not. Also events posted on the site should be held in Brocton or the surrounding area. Posts that don't meet the criteria will be removed. If this system is abused it will become moderated for legal reasons. Your IP address will be logged.

The title should be short and snappy to draw the reader's attention to the event. This field is not optional.

The Description should contain as much information about your event as possible including location, price, timings that are different from the set start and end, as well as anything else you may think the reader will find interesting and will get them to attend. This field is not optional.

The Start Date and Time can be set below. Note that the start date can not be in the past and can't be after the end date! This is a required field.

The End Date and Time can be set below. Note that the end date can not be in the past and can not be before the start date! This is a required field.

Please provide a contact name so that people know who you are with regard to the event. Extended contact information should be included in the event description. This field is not optional.

Please provide an email address so that the site administrators can contact you. This will not be published on the website and is not optional. If you want people to email you about the event please include your email address in the event description as well as here.

If you have a picture to accompany your event then please use the browse button to find it on your computer. Note that pictures should be no wider than 300 pixels, no higher than 300 pixels, and should not be more than 60000 bytes in file size. The image should also be jpg, gif, or png formatted. Uploading a picture is optional.
